Well maintained gym with nice and lots of equipment and opportunities but if you’re coming here for personal training you’ll have to empty your pockets. The Membership is as expensive as it is, you’d have to pay for the training part separately which they don’t mention while you sign up for the membership. Instead what I was told is that I’ll have a couple appointments with personal trainers (Reason I got the Membership in the first place) but what I wasn’t told is that the trainers will only ask me what my goals are in those couple appointments and then if I wanna continue it’s ($150-$160) per session. When I tried to complain about what they’re doing was wrong I was assigned a “complimentary” 40 Min “Personal Training” session with a new trainer where the trainer Rushed through some basics without even knowing my personal goals and what I’m trying to achieve in gym which I found highly unprofessional.
I went to this space to do a tour and learn more about their offerings. One of the staff members, Betsy, was very rude and behaved as though she was not interested in having me as a member of the gym. When I was asking questions to learn more about the facility she behaved as though I was bothering her. I am very disappointed by the treatment I received. I expected better.
Formerly ACAC, this gym recently became OneLife Germantown on October 1. The staff are really helpful, friendly while remaining professional. The club has a very broad range of well maintained and clean equipment, a dedicated room for weight squats, chin-ups/pulls-ups,... I just wish OneLife would start investing in better equipment for classes: barbells are really old and not really safe (mix of different brands where bars and clips are not matching). Pike&Rose and Rockville locations offer recent LesMills equipment so hopefully this will be one of their future investments!
Great place, no judgements at all. Friendly staff on a first name basis. It kinda reminds me of CHEERS🤣 going where everybody knows my name.... lol. But during the initial pandemic they were very accommodating and clean. I enjoy this place.
I had an issue with pool booking and talked with an officer named Kristine. She was so rude and ill mannered that I ended up cancelling my gym membership. I called several times and she didnt help me even once! Worst customer service and poor Assistanceship. No intension of giving solution to any problem rather being adament and discriminative. Stay away from this Gym!
We would be honored! Please reach out and expect to be treated like the ROCKSTAR that you are! 🙂
