So I am a fully vaccinated adult. There are no mask mandates for the city, state or county. I was asked to leave this store today. When I asked the manager "Russel" why he told me that although he was also fully vaccinated the masks helped his allergies and he didn't want to stop wearing them. FYI "Restore" is a" for profit" franchise and when I asked who they donated money to in the community he never did give me a straight answer. PLEASE DONATE TO A CHURCH THRIFT STORE that way you know your really helping your community..and not supporting a store that doesn't believe in science.
Mask wearing isn’t consistent with customers or employees and the selection is like most thrift stores and can be hit or miss. A few items are overpriced, but generally I’ve found some good things. Most frustrating is that there isn’t a claiming system for furniture items, so if you’re interested in furniture there aren’t any real options if you’d like to keep shopping the rest of the store before paying. I asked the cashier, Linda, about the policy for holding furniture while in store and she said I could either carry the coffee table I was interested in to the counter or take my chances that someone else purchase while I continued to look around. That seems pretty absurd (since the table had a heavy marble/stone top in excess of 30 lbs) and I chose not to buy it on the principle alone. Even if there isn’t a policy, she had a poor attitude and didn’t seem concerned about its effect on customers. Yikes.
Super friendly, clean, and good prices! Love shopping here when I'm in the area. 💘
Can almost always fine something at Habitat. I am always down for a walk through.
